Renovation of a medical facility in Larned, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Base Bid: Remove entire roof system down to existing structural metal deck. Install 60 mil single-ply thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) fleece-backed sheet membrane fully adhered to coverboard. 1/2 " isogard hd coverboard mechanically attached over tapered polyisocyanurate rigid insulation board (+-2 1/2 " start with a 1/4 " per foot slope) over vapor barrier over existing structural metal deck. Install new perimeter wood blocking, cap/coping flashings and other components as indicated on the Drawings. Provide roofing membrane, base flashings and component materials that comply with requirements in FMG 4450 and FMG 4470 as part of a membrane roofing system and that are listed in FMG's "Approval Guide" for Class 1 or noncombustible construction, as applicable. Identify materials with FMG markings. 1) Fire/Windstorm Classification: Class 1A roof designed and installed to 100 mph wind speed; manufacturer to calculate appropriate uplift requirements based on 100 mph wind speed. 2) Hail Resistance: SH Questions requesting clarification of the Bid Event must be submitted electronically (MS Word) to the Procurement Officer (Event Contact) indicated above prior to close of business on May 8, 2025.
