Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Oakland, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Remove single-ply roofing on the overhang and install 2-ply torch-down. Add drains with crickets for proper slope. Replace cap with full cap. Repair, repaint, and replace all dry rot. Provide warranty for Contractor and Material. Asphalt Replacement: Remove and replace asphalt with 3" HMA, ensuring proper slope to drains. Repair and replace drains as needed. Install header boards where needed. Stripe playground per site-coordinated plan. Provide warranty for Contractor and Material. Playground Improvements: Remove and replace play matting. Must have Sof Surfaces play matting installation certification. Replace grass patch with new grass. Ensure all work meets with OUSD standars. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner, as detailed in the Contract Documents The Contract Time shall be sixty (60) calendar days, and liquidated damages for delay shall accrue. The Owner reserves the right to add or deduct any of the additive or deductive items after the lowest responsible and responsive bidder is determined. The lowest bid shall be determined on the amount of the base bid.
