Description

Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Arlington, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project aims to improve cyclist and pedestrian flow through Pentagon City by extending the cycle track along Army Navy Drive (from S Joyce St to S Lynn St). This project includes protected bike lanes on both sides of Army Navy Drive, wider sidewalks and accessible transit stop islands. The design will feature physically separated protected bicycle lane facilities along both sides of the street and include various improvements such as transit islands, new streetlights, storm sewer improvements, curb ramps and new sidewalk in select areas.
