The City of Miramar (The City) is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to furnish all materials, equipment, and labor for the sanding and repainting of basketball gymnasium floors at the Sunset Lakes Community Center and the Vernon E. Hargray Youth Enrichment Center. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Adriel Brown at email address: ajbrown@miramarfl.gov, no later than Tuesday, March 4, 2025. SCOPE OF WORK Location: Vernon E. Hargray Youth Enrichment Center 1. Floor Sanding o Completely sand the entire wood floor down to bare wood. 2. Sealing o Apply Bona oil-based sealer to the entire wood floor. 3. Game Line & Logo Repainting o Existing Lines & Courts to be Maintained: o Official High School Regulation Basketball Court o One (1) High School Regulation Volleyball Court (center) o Two (2) Half-sized Basketball Courts (utilizing the two additional rims running vertical to the main court) o New Additions: o Two (2) Regulation Pickleball Courts o Solid Main Court Border in Royal Blue o "1955" below the free-throw line o "Vernon E. Hargray Youth Enrichment Center" (approximately 2'x6') placed near half-court, facing respective bleachers 4.
