As of May 29, 2025 Project is awarded to JILK Heavy Construction, Inc with the amount of 1,988,994.50 Sealed bids will be accepted by Los Angeles County Public Works, Project Management Division III, for the restoration of the Santa Monica Channel outlet, the repair of the adjoining Marvin Braude Bike Trail, and the performance of other appurtenant work under, Santa Monica Canyon Channel Outlet Restoration and Marvin Braude Bike Trail Repair, in the City of Los Angeles. The prime contractor shall possess a valid California Class A contractor's license. Each bid must be accompanied by a surety bond payable to County of Los Angeles in an amount equal to at least 10 percent of the bid to guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract if it is so awarded. The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in the schedule, but which may be required to execute the contract, shall be commensurate and in accordance with the rates specified for similar or comparable classifications or for those performing similar or comparable duties.
