City of Northfield and its Construction Manager (RJM Construction) are seeking to prequalify contractors for participation in bidding related to construction of the new Northfield Ice Arena project. After the deadline for responses to this RFQ, the City and RJM will establish a list of qualified firms based on approved selection criteria, which will be available for review as noted below. Contractors interested in being selected through the RFQ process should join the project through Building Connected. Contractors approved to be included on the list will have the opportunity to competitively bid on the contract work for the project. The project work scope consists of all work scopes required to construct the new indoor ice arena facility. The City of Northfield in partnership with the Northfield School District, City of Dundas, and Northfield Hockey Association will construct a new single ice sheet facility with locker rooms, spectator viewing, concessions, and meeting the City of Northfield's sustainable building policy.
