A Contract Bond in the total amount of 100% of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner will be required for the faithful performance of the contract Project Description: Tile Improvement Project of Pesotum Consolidated Drainage District consists of construction of approximately 2,770 lineal feet of 30-inch diameter drainage tile. 2.415 lineal feet of 24-inch diameter drainage tile, 4,380 feet of 36-inch diameter drainage tile, and 140 lineal feet of 4-inch diameter through 15-inch diameter drainage tile. Other work will include precast manhole construction. granular trench backfill, installation of various fittings, tees and bends, as well as connection of existing small diameter lateral drainage tile to the new facilities. Surface restoration will include hot-mix asphalt road-way pavement, topsoil placement, seeding, fertilizing, mulching and agricultural soil restoration. Bids may be held by the Pesotum Consolidated Drainage District for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
