Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Kingston, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The construction of a new 73-foot single span prestressed concrete box beam bridge. Guardrail, riprap, and permanent erosion control will be installed along with any other incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. Question Deadline 03/19/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract documents shall be submitted to the Design Professional in writing. Questions must be received by the Design Professional at least four (4) working days prior to the bid opening. No addenda will be issued less than two (2) working days prior to the bid opening. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Caldwell County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 5%.
