Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Kingston, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Demolition of an existing bridge and the construction of a new 66-foot single span prestressed concrete adjacent box beam bridge. Guardrail, riprap, and permanent erosion control will be installed along with any other incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Caldwell County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 4%.
