Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Norco, California. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 3,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will include construction of two regulation competition softball fields located in the northwest corner of the campus. A small support building will be located adjacent to the fields to provide space for storage, restrooms, concessions, and a satellite training room. The support building is planned to be approximately 3,000 GSF. Scope of work may include a new surface parking lot to be constructed as part of this project. An extension of the service drive will connect the complex into the infrastructure of the campus. The proposed project is currently in the initial planning phase and requires additional bond funding to start programming, thus, no space array is currently available. As of April 6, 2026, this project is included in the Riverside Community College's 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to fiscal year 2033. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
