This project will reconstruct the existing Library/Learning Tech Center and repurpose the building into a Student Center. The existing Library is planned to be inactivated following occupancy of the Library/LRC and Student Services building. The project will reconstruct the existing 30,740 GSF building to house student-focused space such as dining, meeting rooms, and informal collaboration spaces. The proposed project is currently in the initial planning phase and requires additional bond funding to start programming, thus, no space array is currently available. As of March 12, 2026, this project is included in the Riverside Community College's 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to fiscal year 2031. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
