Renovation of a library in Oneonta, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The work of this single bid project includes the replacement of the two (2) main exterior entrance vestibules and associated storefront at the Hunt Student Union that are in very poor condition and do not meet NYS Building Code egress requirements. New lighting and heating will be provided in the new entrance vestibules along with card access. The scope at Hunt Student Union also includes the replacement of the concrete approach to the entrances with a new concrete walk with snowmelt, also a new canopy with signage over the main entry. The project also includes the replacement of the main entry door and curtain wall system at Milne Library, with new doors and curtainwall. New lighting and heating will be provided in the entry vestibule. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. In accordance with State Finance Law _139-j, all non-technical inquiries regarding this procurement must be directed to Robbilee Luedtke at SUCF.ConstructionBids@suny.edu or for MWBE related issues, Scott Clay at SUCF.OpportunityAdmin@suny.edu . Contact made to other staff regarding this procurement may disqualify the firm and affect future procurements with government entities in the State of New York. Please refer to OGS' website.
