Rhino Barn Foam Insulation Project Location: Riverbanks Zoo and Garden Construction Cost Range: 10,000-50,000 This scope of work includes the removal of existing fiberglass insulation in the ceiling of the Rhino barn and the installation of a closed cell spray foam insulation. SCOPE OF WORK INTENT: At Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens, we continue to make improvements to the facility for enhancing the guest experience and animal welfare. This scope of work includes the removal of existing fiberglass insulation in the ceiling of the Rhino barn. The barn is a metal pole style structure that is approximately 5,500 square feet. The contractor shall remove all the old insulation that is currently in the ceiling. The Zoo shall provide the dumpsters for disposal of the old insulation. Contractor shall prepare the surface for the foam insulation installation and will protect all structures below from overspray, etc. The insulation shall be a closed cell spray foam and the contractor shall install the insulation two inches thick to the entire ceiling. The contractor shall provide the lifts, and all equipment needed to reach the ceiling to perform the work. Contractor should be ABAA accredited and a member of the SPFA. Spray foam installation shall be the Contractors primary occupation.
