**As of April 7, 2025, No Award, Anticipated award May 2025** The Village of Hesperia is requesting Bids for the construction of the Roadway Improvements on Smith Street, Michigan Avenue, Hawley Street, State Street and Weaver Street. Question Deadline 03/24/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project includes spot patching areas of failing asphalt prior to applying a 1" HMA overlay to the 1,110 feet of Smith Street between South Avenue (M-20) to Michigan Avenue, the 1,400 feet of Michigan Avenue between Adams Road to Smith Street, the 2,520 feet of Hawley Street from the West Village Limits (near Mary Ct) to Division Street (M-120), the 2,095 feet of Weaver Street from State Street to Greenback Street, and the 1,185 feet of State Street from South Avenue to Michigan Avenue. Gravel shoulders are to be restored along the 1,080 feet or Smith Street between South Avenue and Michigan Avenue. The project also includes upgrading sidewalk ramps to meet ADA requirements, where required along Weaver Street. Surface restoration, casting adjustments, and striping are also included. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The Village of Hesperia reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Hesperia.
