Site work and paving for a civil project in Hesperia, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Contractor will perform potholing at either the private or both private and public side of the water service curb stop at a minimum distance of 18 inches from the curb stop. A total of 172 material verifications will be completed and provided to the Village. In addition, the contractor will pothole existing water main at 10 locations to determine the size and material of existing watermain, which are anticipated to be outside the limits of existing pavement. Quantities may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Owner or Engineer. Work will include turf, pavement, and concrete restoration where necessary. The anticipated depth of pipe is approximately 6 feet below grade but may be up to 8 feet. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating Work in the public Right of Way with the Owner and Engineer and obtaining permits for the work. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Village of Hesperia reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Hesperia. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, services, and documentation necessary to construct the Project defined herein. The Work may include related services such as testing, start-up, and commissioning, all as required by the Contract Documents. B. The Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Project is generally described as follows: 1. Distribution System Materials Inventory which includes hydro excavating and identifying the material of water service lines in the Village of Hesperia. 2. The Site of the Work includes property, easements, and designated work areas described in greater detail in the Contract Documents but generally located within the Village of Hesperia.
