Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes concrete sidewalk removal and replacement, removal of street trees to be replaced by planter boxes and installation of electrical receptacles, curb and gutter installation, concrete entrance apron replacement, and parking striping and signage. The project also includes the replacement of existing sanitary sewers below the proposed sidewalk. The ENGINEER of the Project is Banks Engineering, Inc., 1211 Jessamine Station, Nicholasville, Kentucky, 40356, (859) 881-0020, John Steinmetz, P.E., Project Manager (jsteinmetz@banksengineering.net). Bidders and DBE subcontractors must be prequalified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of the bid opening. All subcontractors must be prequalified in the work functions they will perform when accepting subcontracts. The general contractor must be prequalified by the Kentucky Department of Transportation in "Sidewalk" (I12). A DBE goal of two percent (2%) has been established for this Contract. Each BIDDER must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount (five (5) percent), form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
