These Specifications and the accompanying Drawings describe the work to be done and materials to be furnished for the construction of Contract 306-24-03, Springfield Downtown Water Line Replacement, City of Springfield, Springfield, Kentucky. B. The Work is located at the City of Springfield, Kentucky. C. Major work items in this Contract include 1. Replacement of aging water lines in downtown Springfield (approximately 2,300 linear feet of 10-inch, 17,972 linear feet of 8-inch, 2,788 linear feet of 6-inch, 2,635 linear feet of 4-inch), including all service lines and meter pits, fittings, valves, and hydrants. Question Deadline 07/31/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Replacement of aging water lines in downtown Springfield (approximately 2,200 linear feet of 10-inch, 20,000 linear feet of 8-inch, 4,500 linear feet of 6-inch, 1,000 linear feet of 4-inch), including all service lines and meter pits, fittings, valves, and hydrants.
