City of Springfield (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: HIGH STREET CULVERT REPLACEMENT The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of existing, and installation of new, stormwater piping and structures. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Contract 770-24-02, High Street Culvert Replacement, Cityof Springfield, Springfield, Kentucky. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. B. The Work is located at Springfield, Kentucky. C. Major work items in this Contract include: 1. Installation of new storm sewer line. 2. Replacement of existing stormwater structures. 1.02 WORK SEQUENCE A. First priority shall be given to the sites furthest downstream. B. The CONTRACTOR may apply his work forces to all divisions and sections of this Contract in order that all phases of the work may be completed concurrently, provided the aforementioned divisions and sections are given prime consideration.
