Site work for a water / sewer project in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of Water Upgrade work that includes: 1. Approximately 80,000 linear feet of 12", 8" and 6" water mains, 1,275 linear feet of 8" HDPEP by HDD, pressure reducing valve and vault, altitude valve replacement, fire hydrants, gate valves and all appurtenances for the water system upgrade Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. All bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
