Bids must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a Bid Bond, Cash, or Certified Check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5.0% of the total bid price. The awarded bidder shall be required to provide a labor and materials payment bond and performance bond in an amount equal to 100.0% percent of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including, but not limited to G.L. c. 149, as amended. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, and to make the award as may be in the best interest of the Town. Each Bidder's required examination of the site shall be coordinated through the Town of Foxborough Director of Facilities, Mr. Anthony Moussalli, by email at moussallia@foxborough.k12.ma.us, or by phone at 508-962-2101. Site visits shall occur between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on regular workdays and must be coordinated in advance (24 hours minimum notice) with Mr. Moussalli. All site visits must take place before 3:00 PM one business day prior to the bid opening date.
