Site work and renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Pointe-au-Baril-Station, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
The awarded contractor shall complete concrete repairs on the Pointe Au Baril Community Centre Outdoor Rink, located at 70 South Shore Road, Pointe Au Baril, ON as outlined in accordance with engineered plans and specifications of S.1 and S.2. The scope of work includes: Slab Repair: o Rout and seal all cracks in slab to prevent water ingress. o Place self leveling concrete in areas of ponding to provide drainage off slab. Minor Pier Repairs: o Bend anchor bolts to plumb as required. o Repair concrete deterioration. o Clean and thread chase all anchor bolts and rethread as necessary. o Install temporary plywood base plate protection. Major Pier Repairs: o Remove concrete to below existing anchor bolt elevation. o Remove existing anchor bolts and install new anchor bolts. o Sandblast and prime any exposed and corroded reinforcing steel., o Place new concrete to match original pier design with 4000 PSI (30 MPA, F-2, Air Entrained) concrete. o Install temporary plywood base plate protection.
