Project Description Scope Of Work Calls For The Abatement Of Floor Tile And Mastic Via Heat Method From The Ahera Regulated Portion Of The Building. Abatement Of Cementitious Wall And Ceiling Panels, Floor Tile And Mastic, Window Caulk, Heat Shields, And Roof Flashing Will Be Required For The Neshaps Regulated Portion Of The Building To Be Demolished. After The Abatement Is Complete, The Demolition Contractor Will Be Responsible For Utility Disconnects, The Demolition Of The West Portion Of The Building, Slab, And Footing, Grading And Seeding. Bids Shall Include Not Less Than The Prevailing Hourly Wage Rate Determined By The Illinois Department Of Labor. Illinois Preference Act (Il. Rev. Stat. Ch. 48, Par. 2201-2207) Shall Apply On All Public Works Projects. Bid Security Is Required In The Amount Of Ten (10) Percent Of Proposal. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required To Furnish A Satisfactory Performance Bond And A Labor And Material Payment Bond For The Full Amount Of The Bid Accepted.
