The City of Quincy, Massachusetts, acting through the Department of Public Buildings, is soliciting proposals for a list of non-exclusive on-call consultant services to assist the City with professional services for materials testing and inspection services during the construction and certification of public buildings and site improvements within the City. Anticipated material testing and inspections services include, but not limited to, geotechnical; earthwork; soils; concrete; precast concrete; welded fabrications; bolted connections and structural joint connections; pre-cast joints/connections; structural steel, including reinforcing steel, metal decking, joists, light gage metal framing and misc. metals; masonry, mortar, and grout; roofing; exterior walls; fireproofing and firestopping; air and vapor barriers; curtain wall and windows. The Public Buildings Department shall be the lead agency; however, other City Departments may utilize these services. Price Proposals shall be provided in a separate sealed envelope by the deadline of the RFP. All questions regarding this Request for Proposal should be directed to Kathryn R.
