Site work for a water / sewer project in Burnsville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of: Rehabilitate approximately 3,206 LF of old and deteriorated 8" and 10" Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), and Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) diameter gravity sewer lines via CIPP. Dig and Replace approximately 272 LF of 8" and 10" diameter gravity sewer with 10" Class 250 Ductile Iron Pipe, 1 precast manhole if needed, and 1 precast manhole with outside drop. Install 2 new precast doghouse manholes, 1 new precast manhole, and 350 LF of 10" Class 250 Ductile Iron Pipe. Includes approximately 1 dig-and-replace point repair of 8" gravity sewer lines with SDR 26 PVC. Note: Project budgets that include construction easements (permanent and temporary) are eligible for funding disbursement. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
