Site work for a mixed-use development in Bellingham, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This project is soliciting contractors to perform the following work at Birnam Wood on Western Washington University's Bellingham campus: replace building cladding system and wood bridges at Stacks 5 and 6 and construct two mailbox structures. MW BE: Western Washington University is committed to providing the maximum practicable opportunity for participation by minority and women-owned businesses (MWBE) in public works. Voluntary goals for this project have been established as 10% MBE and 6% WBE. Participation may be either on a direct basis in response to this invitation to bid, or as a subcontractor or supplier. However, no minimum level of MWBE participation shall be required as a condition for receiving an award and bids will not be rejected or considered non-responsive ifthey do not include MWBE participation.
