Site work and new construction of a service station / car wash facility in Bellingham, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a service station / car wash facility; and for site work for a service station / car wash facility.

Work includes installation of two (2) Owner provided Charge Point dual port Level 2 chargers in each location and supporting infrastructure including EV parking signs and parking stops, and landscaping in accordance with the attached construction plans and specifications contained therein. A mandatory 25% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours is a requirement of this contract. This project also requires that the contractor and Owner be signatory to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) between the Owner, contractor, and applicable local trades unions. Finally, a one-time $5,000.00 donation to the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment and Veterans Employment's Helmets to Hardhats program is required. The Contractor is subject to all requirements related to State Prevailing Wage Rates, EEO, and Washington State Contracting Laws, etc. Bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in addition to acknowledgement of addenda in the attached RFP. The award will be based on the total bid The electrical engineer's estimate for this project is $126,000 excluding Owner-provided EV charging stations. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any defects therein.
