Description

Demolition, remodeling and renovation of an educational facility in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

The Project is described as: mechanical and plumbing scope includes new outdoor steam boiler plant, including three gas fired boilers, feedwater tank, blowdown tank, chemical treatment, water softener and associated piping, valves, controls and power plant to include chain link fence enclosure. Piping and power from outdoor skid to indoor basement mechanical room. Basement mechanical room to include new steam header, condensate header, vacuum condensate pump, steam to DHW heat exchanger, DHW storage tank, DHW pumps and controls. Replace existing steam and condensate piping that is exposed in the crawlspace. Second Mechanical room to include team to HVAC hot water heat exchanger, and HVAC pumps and controls. Electrical scope includes new circuit breaker to connect to existing main switch board, provide power to all new HVAC and plumbing equipment. Structural scope includes design for anchorage of the mechanical and electrical equipment and associated piping for the new boiler upgrades.
