Questions will be answered and posted to the Opportunities page on the OFCC website Through this selection process, ODNR intends to engage a Design-Builder to provide design and construction services. This project is an administrative priority to the State of Ohio and ODNR. As a result, firms experienced with accelerated project delivery methods are preferred. The scope will include design and construction of a Green House, Irrigation pumping building, installing heat and electric service to 10 existing hoop style buildings, and installation of a heating system in an existing 60ft x 80ft building. The State of Ohio and ODNR Division of Forestry initiated the development of a new tree nursery program, Buckeye State Tree Nursery (BSTN), in Zanesville Ohio. BSTN will focus on the growing of containerized trees. The Buckeye Tree Nursery will provide tree saplings to various programs across the State of Ohio. The Program of Requirements ("POR") and criteria design will be developed as a part of this project by the Criteria Architect/Engineer ("Criteria A/E"). These Criteria A/E services are being provided by Domokur & Associates under a separate contract with the Contracting Authority. All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistently with the Contracting Authority and/or Owner's policies and procedures. All regulatory and environmental regulations and/or permitting will be the responsibility of the DB selected for this project. The selected Design-Builder ("DB"), as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposal, will discuss and clarify with the Contracting Authority and/or Owner, the breakdown of the Agreement detailed cost components, to address the Owner's project requirements and refine the project schedule. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: develop and maintain estimates of probable construction cost, value engineering, project schedules, and construction schedules; lead and manage the Schematic Design, Design Development, Subcontractor Prequalification and Bidding process, Construction Documents, Construction and Closeout stages.
