Proposal consists of asphaltic materials needed for various Eau Claire County Highway Department project in accordance with the most current applicable State of Wisconsin department of transportation (Wis/DOT) standard specifications for highway, constructions, and these special provisions. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE EAU CLAIRE COUNTY STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. GENERAL: Asphaltic Concrete Pavement shall conform to the requirements as specified in sections 450, 455, and 460 of the WI standards. If conflicts arise between the standard specifications and the special provisions, the special provisions will govern. BITUMINOUS MATERIAL: 4 MT 58-34 S, 3 MT 58-28 S HMA, TACK OIL, Rut-Fill Mix, and Mix of the Day EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Tack Oil Truck will be used to supply and apply tack oil as needed. SCOPE OF WORK: Work shall consist of providing 3MT 58-28S, 4MT 58-34S Hot Mix Asphalt, Rut FOB. Tack Truck will require the bidder's operator to deliver and apply. Tack oil as needed on all projects. Rut-fill mix will be used on specific projects Eau Claire County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all prices and to waive technicalities in any or part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of Eau-Claire County. Eau Claire County shall not be responsible for or incur any charges for any reason to handle, transport, dispose of or the restocking of any un-used material.
