The Yakima Air Terminal - McAllister Field (YKM) (Airport), a facility owned by the City of Yakima, is inviting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Energy Services Companies (ESCOs) for comprehensive energy management, distributed energy, and energy-related capital improvement services to its facilities as authorized under Chapter 39.35A RCW. The Airport intends to construct a series of solar array canopies over rows of existing airport terminal parking stalls to achieve energy savings. The City of Yakima, in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of its programs and activities.
