Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 02/20/2025 12:00 PM (PST) The City of Torrance is seeking site preparation for the installation of an AWOS IIIPT Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) at Torrance Municipal Airport-Zamperini Field. The AWOS equipment has already been procured, and the successful vendor will be responsible for the complete site preparation for the system per the specifications and plan set provided. Once site preparation is complete, the AWOS Vendor is responsible for installation, testing, and commissioning, with the site preparation contractor on call for 2 days for assistance with tasks like antenna mounting and electrical connection assistance. This project is not funded by an FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) or other Federal Aviation Administration Program and must comply with all FAA and FCC standards. The contractor must adhere to all applicable safety and regulatory standards, including FAA requirements for construction work at an airport.
