Start/Delivery Date Term: May 30, 2025 through May 30, 2026 Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 03/14/2025 12:00 PM (PDT) Contact Info Sally Kyung 310-618-5936 skyung@torranceca.gov Prepare a Historic Preservation Plan amendment (see below) that applies to commercial structures located within the Torrance Tract area that are identified as contributing or altered-contributing and provide historic research and analysis consulting services to City staff as requested on an hourly basis. Regular service hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Work performance includes reviewing existing City documents, providing analysis of the historic significance of structures within the City, conducting field assessments, attending meetings with City staff, preparation of reports, an amendment to the Historic Preservation Plan, and an evaluation of the scope and correctness of the Historic Resources Survey. An update to the Historic Resources Survey may be included if determined necessary by the evaluation. Additional work, including but not limited to virtual video or audio meetings, telephone calls, and email communication with City staff, may be required throughout the term of the purchase order. The City reserves the right to revise or amend these specifications prior to the date set for opening proposals. Revisions and amendments will be identified by an addendum to this RFQ. If the revisions require additional time to enable vendors to respond, the City may postpone the opening date accordingly. In such case, the addendum will include an announcement of the new proposal submittal due date. The City reserves the right to award a contract to a company solely based on the initial proposal submitted. The City reserves the right to require more information and clarification on information submitted in the proposal to complete the evaluation. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received, to take all proposals under advisement for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days after the date of the opening, to waive any informality on any proposal, and to be the sole judge of the relative merits of the material and or service mentioned in the respective proposals received. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal not accompanied with all data or information required. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
