Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Vancouver, British Columbia. Design plans call for the construction of a 26-story above grade, 280-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; 28-story above grade medical facility; day care center; and 317-space parking garage.
Phased expansion of the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) campus and development of two mixed-use buildings with institutional space and ground floor commercial. The proposal includes: A 26-storey west building with 280 new seniors long-term care beds, clinical and diagnostic space, clinical support functions, and physician offices; A 28-storey east building in a future phase, with clinical space, medical offices, childcare, and public open space. TIMELINE: Design is ongoing. An application seeking rezoning is in process at the city and is being referred to a public hearing to be held on January 15, 2026. Schedules may be confirmed, pending permit approvals are in place. Further update in early summer 2026. Construction budget is unreleased.
