Reference Number 0000384829 Fiber Upgrades - Extending Fiber Optic Cable to Signal Cabinets at eleven locations throughout Medford. Pay items include, but are not limited to the following: Apply for and procure permits for pole attachments in accordance with the plan set (25 poles), install fiber optic cable (24 count, 7,000 lf), Fiber optic cable testing, Fiber Terminations and Splices (420 splices), PVC conduit and junction box installation and concrete flat work. This project is located at 11 various locations throughout the City of Medford. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check equivalent to 10% of the proposal payable to the City of Medford, to guarantee that if a proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured. A Bid Bond to like effect and amount with a corporate surety will be acceptable for this project. Question Deadline 05/07/2025 at 12:00 PM PT Questions are submitted online Yes All Bidders shall be prequalified with the City of Medford, as provided by law under Oregon Revised Statutes, at least 5 days prior to opening of bids. Completion date: 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed; estimated, December 31st, 2025. Cost Range: $150,000 - $200,000. Class of Work: Electrical. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
