To access the electronic format the bidder must have a valid email address and will require an internet connection. All checks shall be made payable to East Hills Engineering Associates, LLC. Bidders must purchase the Contract Documents and Plans (in either format) from East Hills Engineering Associates, LLC to be eligible to bid this project. A certified check, payable to the LIGONIER VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the LIGONIER VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT and the Bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Insurance Certificates and Performance and Payment Bonds and Maintenance Bond. The LIGONIER VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. The Notice to Proceed will be issued on or about April 14, 2025. The construction period is 170 consecutive calendar days. Work under this Contract is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (1961 August 15, PL 987, P.S. 165) and subsequent amendments. Work under this Contract is subject to the requirements of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012).
