Ligonier Valley High School Baseball Field Reconstruction Work Will Consist of Furnishing and Installing All Labor, Materials, and Equipment to Reorient, Reconstruct, and Regrade the Baseball Field. The Project Will Also Include, but Not Be Limited to: New Fencing, Retaining Walls, Bleachers, Site Work, Backstop/netting, Knee Wall, Utilities, Dugouts, Bull Pen, Batting Cage/bullpen, Maintenance Area, Grading, Seeding and Mulching, Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control, Drainage, Inlets, Retention Basin, Concrete, Score Board, Press Box/restrooms, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Etc. Complete in Place. Field Drainage, Field Irrigation, Construction of Field Surface, Sod, Infield Mix, Warning Track, Home Plate, Bases, Pitchers Mound, and Striping Will Be by Others. Proposals Will Be Received for the Following Prime Contracts: General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Plumbing Construction, and Electrical Construction. Successful Bidders Will Be Required to Enter a Contract With Ligonier Valley School District Requiring a Labor and Material Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond and Performance Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. This Project is Subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Approved August 15, 1961, P.l. 987 (Act No. 442), as Amended and Supplemented, and Reference is Made to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates Applicable to This Project, Which Have Been Promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry. A Pre-bid Conference Will Not Be Held The Contractor Must Ensure That Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Gender, Creed, Color, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, or Expression, or in Violation of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and Applicable Federal Laws, Against or Intimidate Any of Its Employees. All Materials Used on the Project Shall Meet the Buy America Act and the Pennsylvania Steel Procurement Act. The Ligonier Valley School District Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or Items Therein, or to Waive Any Irregularities in the Same.
