Site work and paving for a civil project in Chehalis, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of May 28, 2025, a design firm has still not been selected. The South Louisiana Ave. Re-Alignment project will expand the west shoulder of the South bound lane. The expansion will begin approximately 200 south of the Chamber Way intersection. This will improve the traffic flow by providing a safer transition onto Louisiana Ave. and the nearby business. This project covers approximately 500 feet of roadway and may involve relocating utilities along the west side of Louisiana Ave. Consultant duties will include the following: Develop Civil Construction Plans and engineers estimate for moving utilities, extending the road surface to accommodate the new alignment approximately M/L 500 ft. of road surface. Deliverables: Engineers estimate, bid package design plans. Municipal Construction Project Management Services Deliverables: Prepare construction bid package, invitation to bid, provide administrative assistance with contract from execution to completion. Civil Plan Development May 2025 to July 2025 Questions must be submitted via email to fbeierle@ci.chehalis.wa.us no later than 10:00 a.m. on April 21st, 2025. City responses for clarification of statements herein will be provided to the known list of RFP recipients. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
