The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified consulting firms to establish a list of pre-qualified consultants to provide on-call consulting services for City of Conroe (City). The selected firms will support various projects on an as-needed basis, offering specialized expertise in geotechnical services, construction material testing, traffic engineering, surveying services, general civil engineering, environmental services, construction management, architectural design and rehabilitation, landscape architectural, property acquisition services, appraisal services, electrical engineering, hydrogeologist services, mechanical engineering, and structural engineering services. Through this RFQ process, the City intends to identify and enter into agreements with multiple firms to ensure timely access to professional consulting services when specific project needs arise. These services will support the efficient and effective execution of projects while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Pre-qualified firms will be eligible for task order assignments over the term of the contract, with work issued based on project scope, availability, and expertise. The RFQ process does not guarantee contract award or work assignments but serves to establish a vetted list of consultants available for future engagements.
