The general scope of the project includes professional engineering services for the analysis and design to complete channel repair and improvements along Little Fossil Creek (South of SH 121) from the Trinity Railway Express (adjacent to Little Fossil Road) to approximately 300-600 linear feet downstream. The engineering services required for this project shall be completed in general accordance with the scope of services needed to accomplish the major tasks listed below. The final scope of services will be negotiated with the selected engineering firm: Survey area. Develop a preliminary conceptual hydraulic analysis in HEC-RAS of the channel's existing and proposed conditions. Meet with Public Works staff regarding these findings. This may also include multiple meetings with the professional staff of other departments. Address the issues identified by the Public Works staff and/or other city departments. Perform the Environmental Assessment and Mitigation requirements determined by USACE. Perform final design analysis, develop final plans, specifications and cost estimates. Meet with City and allow City to review. Meet with the USACE and obtain any approvals that they may require. Incorporate any changes into the final design that the City and USACE require from their reviews. Attend at least two (2) meetings with residents/businesses to discuss design issues and prepare them for anticipated construction activities. All questions should be directed in writing by 3:00 P.M.
