Reference Number 0000288361 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/03/14 12:00:00 AM CDT The Manitoba PUblic Utilities Board requires the services of a qualified professional engineer or engineering firm to function as an advisor to the Board on electricity and natural gas-relate matters. The scope of the advisor services includes, but is not limited to the following: - Analaysis of electricity General Rate Applications; - Analysis of natural gas and propane General Rate and Cost of Gas Applications; - Analysis of electricity, natural gas and propane cost of service and cost allocation studies; - Assistance with the preparation of interrogatories in cooperation with other members of the Board advisory team; - Provide Board briefings on various applications and matters before the Board; - Attendance at Board harings to assist with cross-examination; - Technical assistance in the review of utiity gas-related programs (such as gas distribution system integrity management, quality assurance, key performance monitoring, damage reports and monitoring of gas line construction standards and procedures); - Providing of gas safety technical advisory services including on-site investigation services of natural gas incidents; - Assisting in the licensing and management of natural gas brokers; - Other electricity and natural gas general advisory services, as rquired.
