The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of two parts: Part 1 – City Funded Work shall consist of: (a) Pavement Rehabilitation (i) Bayview Pl – Paulley Dr to McMeans Av E (ii) Dzyndra Cr – Bournais Dr to Hatcher Rd (iii) Marcus Pl – Whiteway Rd to End (iv) McMullen Cr – Hatcher Rd to Hatcher Rd (v) Paulley Dr – Dowling Av E to Redonda St (vi) Sims Cr – Hatcher Rd to Hatcher Rd (vii) Whiteway Rd – Sanford Fleming Rd to Clouston Dr (b) Asphalt Reconstruction (i) Gillies Cr – Hatcher Rd to Hatcher Rd (c) Pedestrian Crossing Improvement (i) Devonshire Dr W at Dawnville Dr Part 2 - Provincially Funded Work shall consist of: (a) Streetlighting Renewal (i) Gillies Cr – Hatcher Rd to Hatcher Rd. The Contractor shall not commence the Work on the Site before July 21, 2025, and shall commence the Work on Site no later than August 5, 2025, as directed by the Contract Administrator and weather permitting. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price A performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, Form H1 Performance Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and A labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba Form H2 Labour and Material Bond, in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
