Reference Number 0000287802 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/03/14 05:00:00 PM CDT Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for Underground Utility Services. The Work shall consist of the installation of steel and polyethylene distribution mains and service piping including appurtenances as well as the installation of the electric distribution connections along with other participating utility and communication companies. The location of the Work is in the following contract areas as shown in Appendix A - Contract Area Map: - Group A: Winnipeg West and Rural Central - Group B: Winnipeg East and Rural East - Group C: Rural West The Contractor shall coordinate all Work, materials and invoicing with the participating utilities and communication companies. It is estimated that approximately 3,400 services are completed annually among the three Contract Service Areas. All quantities set out in the Contract Forms are estimates only. The Purchaser shall not be obligated to purchase any estimated quantities for any ITEMs or any stated amounts. Contract duration will be a one (1) year term with an option to extend for four (4) additional one (1) year periods, for a maximum total duration of five (5) years. The scope of the Work and detailed requirements, including particulars on supply of materials, are set out in the Part B - General Requirements section of this RFP. General Liability Insurance shall provide coverage to a limit of not less than $5,000,000 (CAD) inclusive, per occurrence, for bodily injury, death, and damage to property including loss of use of damaged property.
