Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Racine, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project is valued between $50,000-$100,000. Project Description: This project will remove and replace in kind with new asphalt. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through website for bids to be accepted. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the City of Racine to qualify to bid. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Racine reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or accept that bid which, in the opinion of the owner, will serve the best interest of the City. Bidders must be prequalified by the Commissioner of Public Works. Deadline for submitting a prequalification application is five (5) days prior to the time of bid opening. This project may be subject to the requirements of Section 46-41 - Racine Works Program of the Racine Municipal Code if contract is over $100,000.
