An original bid bond (in the amount of 10% of the original bid amount The scope of work consists of constructing new permanent traffic signals with traffic signal interconnect, and modifications to existing traffic signals for pedestrian accommodations, as set forth in the bid documents. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price as security for the faithful performance and payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the contract. The successful bidder and all sub-contractors shall be required to conform to the labor standards set forth in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder shall pay prevailing wage and shall provide certified payrolls to the City for the duration of the project. This project must comply with the Elgin Responsible Bidders Ordinance and Elgin Residency Requirements.
