Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Watertown, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

HThe work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, incidentals and other means of construction necessary to complete of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following Base Bid and Add Alternate #1: Base Bid: complete removal of the existing triple barrel corrugated metal pipe structure, and replacement with a new single span, rolled steel multi-beam bridge with monolithic concrete deck, construction of integral abutments founded on piles, placement of stone fill slope protection and reconstruction of roadway approaches as required to accommodate bridge replacement efforts. Construction is to be completed in two stages with alternating one-way traffic. Add Alternate #1: Complete removal and replacement of two existing roadway cross-culverts and associated work including construction one (1) cast-in-place headwall and placement of stone fill at the culvert inlets and outlets.
