The Town of Cave Creek is proposing to combine multiple paving projects into one complete project. The projects consist of 3 roads requiring a complete Pulverization and 2 1/2 - inch thick pavement installation as well as 3 roads requiring an edge mill and 2 1/2 - inch overlay. And one Concrete ford section requiring non-shrink epoxy grout injected into the surface cracks. The Pulverization and pave projects will consist of the complete mill and removal of the existing pavement not acceptable for use in the Subgrade base in accordance with MAG Standard 317. Immediately following the milling of all existing pavement, the contractor will grade and compact the subgrade prior to placement of new asphalt. All new asphalt will be installed in accordance with MAG standard 321. The pavement installation would consist of 3/4 - inch asphalt in accordance with MAG Standard Specification 710. The edge mill and overlay projects will consist of a complete mill of the outer two-foot edge of the existing roadways in accordance with MAG Standard 317. Immediately following the edge milling, a thickened edge will be required in accordance with MAG Standard 321.8.8 prior to placing new asphalt. All placement of new asphalt must be installed in accordance with MAG Standard 321. The pavement installation would consist of 3/4 -inch asphalt in accordance with MAG Standard Specification 710.
