Miscellaneous Paving 2025 All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid. This may be a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Town of Chelmsford. The Town of Chelmsford reserves the right to waive any informality and/or to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the town website periodically for any additional addenda Location and Work to be Done The Location of the Work to be done is described in the project description. The Contractor will furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item will not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but will include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item. No interpretation of the bid documents will be made orally. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the Town's Designated Representative listed in INVITATION TO BID and to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the Contract Documents. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation will not relieve such bidder from any obligation under this bid as submitted. All addenda so issued will become part of the Contract Documents
