RIARNG CSMS Exterior Stair Restoration and New Handicapped Access The Rhode Island Army National Guard is seeking quotes from vendors for CSMS exterior stair restoration and new handicapped access. The overall scope of work is to include the demolition and reconfiguration of site and exterior access to the existing building via the front entry to the facility. The new work is to include approx.6,675 SF of concrete stairs, landing, ramp, and landscaping. This includes replacing the bollard lights and installing new electrical conduit attached to the existing circuit. Install a new yard drain and pipe into existing drain. Pipe the existing roof drain into the existing yard drain. Include new powder coated handrails along ramp and stairs per code requirements. Demolition is to commence on the existing stairs while maintain egress through the ramp. The remaining existing landing and ramp will be demolished after the new stairs are complete. The combined stairs, landing, and ramp consist of approx. 2,054 SF of concrete.
