Site work for a water / sewer project in Faribault, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Removal and replacement of concrete masonry unit (CMU) block on exterior of Digester No. 1, including. Concrete crack injection of digester tank walls. Furnishing and installation of launder covers on two existing secondary clarifiers. Construction of a new primary clarifier influent structure, including sitework, yard piping, structural, process piping and equipment. Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serves the interests of the Owner. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening for Bids may not be answered
