The City will hire the City Engineer of Record for an initial term of five (5) years, with an option for the City to renew for an additional five (5) years. The City Engineer reports directly to the Public Works and Planning Directors. Much of the work occurs via telephone conferences and e-mail. Inquiries from the general public and/or press are outside the purview of the City Engineer. All inquiries for the City Engineer's time shall be channeled through the Public Works and Planning Director or the City Administrator, who must authorize such request prior to the City Engineer taking any action. All correspondence and questions pertaining to this RFP should be directed to Jerry Nelzen, Public Works Director, NelzenJ@canbyoregon.gov; 503-266-0759. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
